One of my favorite formulas for easy to make soap is Oatmeal and Honey Delight. This recipe yields a nice, wholesome, and clean smelling body bar, which has scrubbing action for dry skin removal. Your entire body will feel refreshed, and renewed after you shower with this natural gift.
You will need sixteen ounces of glycerin soap base which has been chopped into small blocks, three tablespoons of all natural honey, eight drops of scented essential oil(this is optional, you can choose a fragrance that compliments the natural smells of oatmeal and honey, or just leave the fragrance as is), and one half cup of old fashioned oats which have been coarsely ground. Do not use the rapid food preparation oats, as they dissolve more than desired.
place the particles of soap base into a microwave oven safe bowl, and heat for about two minutes. Remove from the heat, and stir. Repeat these steps until finally the compound becomes liquid, and clean.
At this level you may choose to add a few drops of scented essential oil. This is optional, as the honey and oatmeal produce a nice smell of their own. Nonetheless, if you choose to enhance the fragrance with the oils, you may do so.
Next, Pour in the honey and ground oatmeal. Stir the hot combination until eventually it is well blended, then pour into soap molds. The soap needs to cool completely before attempting removal.
