In addition, it is now a part of entertainment and as a past-time and not to gain power and honor.
Ever since the modern society was exposed to the existence of games many companies as well as individuals started to formulate and design their own in order to compete with others and in order to earn money as well because this is a business that has high probability of success. But there are things you should consider before designing, creating, and releasing any game which include the following:
Be creative. People crave for something new every day, so conceptualize a design which is creative and different. The number one rule that you should not break is that you are not supposed to base your idea from other existing ideas and never copy form an already published game; because not only are you breaking copyright laws, but in a way you are also insulting your own brain by taking copying from others.
If you designed it, it means that you'll patronize it and play it. Why will you create flash games for example if you prefer card games? People will not purchase and play your creation if you yourself are not patronizing it; it's like you wasted your time, money, and effort in making a specific games come to life.
Be sure that you are loaded. This means that you should be loaded with ideas and most importantly money. Yes, money, because without it you will not be able to purchase the things that you'll need in creating a particular game that you have in mind; and once you are ready to release it and publish it you'll have to pay for the reproduction and most especially the advertisements. Advertisements are considered as assets instead of liabilities because through them you'll be able to introduce your game to the world and to your target population; and soon you'll start to reap fruits of your labor.
So if you look at it closely, making a game come to life like the flash games is not easy; it will take time, effort, money and many more so sincere dedication to the project should be portrayed in order to end up with a very successful project that people will also embrace; because players can judge a poorly made game from a dedicatedly made game even at a glance. |
